Oh three-day weekend, I couldn’t need you at a more perfect time! This week has just been on a constant go that my body is retaliating, screaming “Please Stop!”. I’m looking forward to putting work aside and getting creative, the perfect de-stresser. I’ve refurbished some great thrift finds for my room, how to’s soon to come, once I figure out how to style each. So far I’m leaning towards something this. The only other thing I want to do is be outside and enjoy the warm weather, a hike to the Big A, some basketball with the girls and laying out by the pool. Ahh that’s exactly what I want…I think a well deserved massage is in order too! If you have the long weekend, and even if you don’t, I hope you all can take some time this weekend to savor all the things you enjoy doing for yourself!
This week’s dining experience was at one of our favorite sushi restaurants, Yoshimatsu. A Dining Out post in is order for the future, but since I couldn’t savor my caterpillar roll, I started the second week of my cleanse with a plate of sashimi and pot of green tea. I love their clay replicas of each menu entree…they look so real!
Palm trees, eucalyptus and a brightly yellow tree filled me with the burning desire to start planting some flowers and herbs. It may still be winter, but I’m more than ready for spring
Decided to display these fun silver and gold pineapple salt and pepper shakers my roommate received for ChristmasLoved all the bright colors for my red cabbage stir-fry with fresh cod, topped with avocados and ripened tomatoes, especially against my new water pitcher
I’m in need of something pretty and alive, fresh flowers are in order. I’ve missed the sweet smell of peonies…Can’t wait to sit outside, relax and enjoy the beautiful weather that awaits us this weekend!
