Diamond rings aren’t the only thing sparkling on weddings days, glittering and metallic gowns are illuminating their lovely way down the aisle. Gowns that shimmer every brides’ dreams of being radiant on being on her big day. I can’t seem to shake of my recent obsession with weddings gowns and lace stunners, so it was only fitting I shared these breathtaking gowns that shine brightly as every lovely bride does on her magical day.

There are no words for Krikor Jabotian‘s jaw-dropping couture metallic gold gown with a majestic ombre feather skirt, this is shimmering perfection {pictured above}

Muse_12_frontThe Muse is a pure shimmering masterpiece fit for the bride looking for glamorous details, or the simple bride who is looking to channel the grace of vintage luxury6b34d0145e7df25bc1394989cc598078

You’ll feel like vintage royalty fit for one of Gatsby’s grandest affairs with the exquisite Dove gownb212bcb1e96b1cd2562d0e65094c2a55

My eye is naturally drawn to lace and shimmer, especially this beautiful nod to 1920’s decadence, a true representation to Jazz Age glamour

BRIDAL FASHION WEEK SPRING 2014There isn’t anything quite romantic then the delicate blend of French Chantilly lace, layers of Italian tulle, and hand embroidered and crystal beading on this gown

553_main_zoomThe beauty of silk is the simplistic way it graces the body, with diamond encrusted this Grecian look will make a shimmering statement at any affair

This Soba Tom Yum Noodle dish, inspired by @chriss This Soba Tom Yum Noodle dish, inspired by @chrissyteigen recipe wouldn’t be considered traditional but it does celebrate the beautiful Thai flavors I love. I’ll take all the spice & lemongrass please🍜😋!! It’s certainly become a staple of mine, one I’ve recreated several times & I highly recommend you save in your back pocket because it will leave you craving more...& more!!

I used to post lots of recipes on the blog ‘til weddings/events/design took center stage & hoping to do so more again. Get this recipe on the blog now!
I read something yesterday, that made me instantly I read something yesterday, that made me instantly stop & reflect..."Some people think that having Hope makes you naive, but in my mind, it's so much harder to choose Hope over being angry or frustrated..." As someone who considers herself quite a hopeful person, I've had this on my mind since. Let's not confuse Hope w. toxic positivity {in which negative feelings or hardships are pushed aside}, when there is Hope, we still acknowledge our worries, the drawbacks of life, the sadness but still know that there is good.

We've all been doing our best nearing a year into this pandemic; the lives lost, families broken, the uncertain long-term issues, jobs, livelihoods disrupted & most recently too many people to count, struggling after a natural disaster. My heart breaks & is w. all of you, but despite the darkness, what I've also seen during these trying times...is Hope & Love. Communities & strangers coming together to help one another however way they can, even when they too are struggling to get by. That right there, is Hope. Be gentle with yourself, be gentle w. those around you. We’re all doing the best we can🤍
Finding it a bit hard to stay positive today…in Finding it a bit hard to stay positive today…in truth the state of our planet weighs heavily on me daily, but especially these last few days knowing that millions of people are struggling to have the basic necessities of staying warm & having running water in their own home. It’s baffling. But this is the sad reality that we have created as humans. Decades of corporations, governments & leaders choosing profits over the value & quality of human life & of every living organism necessary to make our ecosystems thrive.

No, not the happiest of posts, but it’s honesty. We have created the rise in repeated natural disasters, pandemics & rare diseases. And until we hold these people accountable & collectively make drastic changes, then we will continue to have these in more severe cases — so yes, more diseases, more crazy things happening to our environment & the places we love. We have created this change & it’s severely impacted every facet of our lives & future.

My heart is w. everyone struggling right now, because this shouldn’t be happening. Please stay safe, check on your neighbors & loved ones. Help however way you can🤍
For many of us, Travel is very much etched into ev For many of us, Travel is very much etched into every fiber of our being. Travel makes us who we are, it brings life to our soul...

So my fellow travelers at heart, how have you soothed that part of you that feels put on pause?

I’ve been watching a lot international series, read plenty of travel publications & naturally find myself looking back at old photos, turning those memories into videos & reliving those moments...like a Sunday afternoon discovering Poço da Broca in the Serra Da Estrela🌱
If you need to mentally travel, see more of this lovely spot on the blog now!!
