Wedding Inspiration {Bohemian Garden}

May 15, 2014 · 1 Comment

Wedding Inspiration {Bohemian Garden}I’ve had my mind on all things weddings lately, more so than normal, because this weekend I will be taking part in my best friend’s big day. Al fresco weddings are my favorite, so I’m hoping the weather holds up for her classic vintage Lake George styled affair. All weddings make me swoon, but the ones I love the most are those with an ethereal bohemian style and English garden inspired florals. Nothing structured, just soft flowing blooms and fabrics. I’ve gathered up a few stunning photos that have me dreaming of an effortlessly gorgeous bohemian garden wedding. {image above via}

Wedding Inspiration {Bohemian Garden}I dream of being a bohemian garden bride

 Wedding Inspiration {Bohemian Garden}I’m one for a bold and beautiful floral crown, but there is something so simplistically stunning about loose soft curls with a veil and small flowering bud or beaded headpiece with natural shimmering makeup

Wedding Inspiration {Bohemian Garden}And equally beautiful and ethereal bridesmaids

Wedding Inspiration {Bohemian Garden}Nothing is more bohemian than dreamcatchers as both a place setting and favor

Wedding Inspiration {Bohemian Garden}-1Skip the fuss of traditional tables and chairs, and opt for carefree floor setting beneath canopies draped in flowers or sheer fabrics

 Wedding Inspiration {Bohemian Garden}The season is for anemones and garden roses

 Wedding Inspiration {Bohemian Garden}Channeling ancient summer solstice gatherings with ribbon and greens as lovely chair decor

Wedding Inspiration {Bohemian Garden}A woodland forest display for sweets

Wedding Inspiration {Bohemian Garden}It can be such a shame to cut up a beautiful cake, but pretty macarons decked in fresh blooms are just the right bite Wedding Inspiration {Bohemian Garden}

Wedding Inspiration {Bohemian Garden}Announce your sparkle send off with lovely floral cards as guests sip on sparkling rose and juniper cocktails

    […] believe the day is finally here, and I can now stop dreaming of beautiful outdoor ceremonies like this, since I’ll be walking down the aisle as a bridesmaid for the first time! Words can’t […]

Dreamery Headshot_2020

A Lover of Nature & Kindness, constantly smitten by the simple pleasures of life. Travel fills my soul with bliss & inspiration. Flowers are my weakness, a slice of homemade pie makes my heart sing. I love the outdoors & live for al fresco dinner parties, cozy candlelit romantic affairs with warm fires & blankets to share.

I dream about these things, it’s true. Yes, it’s all the small details in life that drive me & everything I do because we all deserve to celebrate every special moment in our lives…

This Soba Tom Yum Noodle dish, inspired by @chriss This Soba Tom Yum Noodle dish, inspired by @chrissyteigen recipe wouldn’t be considered traditional but it does celebrate the beautiful Thai flavors I love. I’ll take all the spice & lemongrass please🍜😋!! It’s certainly become a staple of mine, one I’ve recreated several times & I highly recommend you save in your back pocket because it will leave you craving more...& more!!

I used to post lots of recipes on the blog ‘til weddings/events/design took center stage & hoping to do so more again. Get this recipe on the blog now!
I read something yesterday, that made me instantly I read something yesterday, that made me instantly stop & reflect..."Some people think that having Hope makes you naive, but in my mind, it's so much harder to choose Hope over being angry or frustrated..." As someone who considers herself quite a hopeful person, I've had this on my mind since. Let's not confuse Hope w. toxic positivity {in which negative feelings or hardships are pushed aside}, when there is Hope, we still acknowledge our worries, the drawbacks of life, the sadness but still know that there is good.

We've all been doing our best nearing a year into this pandemic; the lives lost, families broken, the uncertain long-term issues, jobs, livelihoods disrupted & most recently too many people to count, struggling after a natural disaster. My heart breaks & is w. all of you, but despite the darkness, what I've also seen during these trying times...is Hope & Love. Communities & strangers coming together to help one another however way they can, even when they too are struggling to get by. That right there, is Hope. Be gentle with yourself, be gentle w. those around you. We’re all doing the best we can🤍
