Wedding Photography Inspiration

August 4, 2014 · 2 Comments

We’re at the peak of wedding season, and one of the most important aspects might just be your photography. Of course, every detail is an important part in making your big day perfect, but wedding photography has come a long way over the years. It’s the one thing you can look back and cherish years after that unforgettable day. With details so breathtaking, I’ve become quite smitten over wedding photography, and here’s just a few inspirational shots that have me feeling head over heels in love. Wedding Photography Inspiration

Catch the right wind, and let your veil surround a beautiful kiss to create a dreamy photo like this one

Wedding Photography InspirationReminisce like children in the playground, to create this sweet overhead shot of lovers laying in the grass

Wedding Photography InspirationI’m a sucker for a stunning backdrop of nature, even more so when it’s a shot of a romantic kiss

Wedding Photography InspirationIf you’re lucky enough to have your wedding nuptials in a destination city, make sure to take advantage of your location, especially if the Eiffel Tower and the romantic city of Paris is your backdrop

Wedding Photography InspirationLighting is everything in photography, and the way the sun hits this one is just breathtaking

Wedding Photography InspirationThen there are the simple shots where the way a new husband holds his new wife, is all you need to see how much love there is {image via}

Wedding Photography InspirationWith gowns becoming more and more breathtakingly beautiful, make sure to get every delicate detail of your perfect dress

Wedding Photography InspirationIf you got a large tulle skirt, make it the focal point like this seated shot

Wedding Photography Inspiration Some of the most beautiful photos are taken from unusual perspectives, talk with your photographer about shooting outside of the norm {image source unknown}

Wedding Photography InspirationIf you have a specific theme, it’s the perfect opportunity to have a movie-like shoot like this Gatsby affair

Wedding Photography InspirationSavor every last-minute of your wedding, and make sure to catch those precious moments before heading off to your honeymoon

Dreamery Headshot_2020

A Lover of Nature & Kindness, constantly smitten by the simple pleasures of life. Travel fills my soul with bliss & inspiration. Flowers are my weakness, a slice of homemade pie makes my heart sing. I love the outdoors & live for al fresco dinner parties, cozy candlelit romantic affairs with warm fires & blankets to share.

I dream about these things, it’s true. Yes, it’s all the small details in life that drive me & everything I do because we all deserve to celebrate every special moment in our lives…

tiny joyous things🌿 ... I try not to lose sight tiny joyous things🌿 ... I try not to lose sight of the fact I get to create & "work" w. beautiful flowers; one of the things I love so much & one of the joyful parts of creating & sharing my work w. others. But this whole social media thing is weird right, the world is weird & broken right now -- as creatives seems like are new age question is "do I post this pretty picture when this is really happening right now?! but it's also kind of my job to put my work out there for others to see, right?!" ... but I’m learning, funny enough, by some inspiring women on this platform, it's ok to feel all these things while also sharing the joyous, cool & helpful things we are all working on, creating & hoping to bring into this world. Life is filled w. beautiful & sad moments, happiness, joy, grief, fear, doubt, love. All the tiny things🤍

& if anyone watched last night's This is Us, how beautiful was their telling of one's final moments, looking back at life. Ugh my heart😢

Event season is in full swing & it’s nice to finally step aside from planning to bring all the ideas, time & details to life!

May is the start of a busy few months of events, so I’m going to make sure I prioritize Rest whenever I can. But also plenty of garden days, living & cherishing simple moments — because when the busy days will feel like a blur or the state of the world (big/small) only adds to the mental drain, I know these will be the things that keep me going🤍
