Traveling to…Boston

November 10, 2015 · 2 Comments

Traveling to...BostonFor the last four years, my cousin and I make a weekend trip to Boston to see our favorite football team, the New England Patriots. We’ve had warm days, and ones where the snow was too much for us to handle a live game, but this past weekend not only did we have some amazing weather for football watching, we we’re lucky enough to stay at the beautiful Boston Yacht Haven Inn & Marina, right on the harbor. With beautiful views of fall trees in the distant, the marina with calm blue waters and beautiful yachts, as Boston’s skyline shimmers just beyond.
Traveling to...BostonWe were in walking distant of downtown Boston, including Quincy Market and Little Italy, where the streets were filled with people catching the last of the outdoor market and heading to one of the endless delicious smelling restaurants. After walking the busy streets, we headed into the Bell in Hand, one of Boston and the country’s oldest bars, for a delicious New England lobsters roll. It was a perfect night to stroll alongside Boston’s harbor before returning to our equally beautiful room.Traveling to...BostonWaking up to this view was just spectacular. I still can’t get over our room, and the large deck that graced us with such amazing mornings views. Let’s just say I was very inspired by the decor of the Inn. There really isn’t any better way to start the morning, with breakfast seated along the marina, watching early morning strollers or yacht workers, and a few quiet moments feeling the sun in our faces, we couldn’t have geared up for the football game any better. Traveling to...BostonThe sun was bright, warm, and calming. Although, our trip was short, getting away to Boston and New England, a place I loved for four years while attending college in Rhode Island, it really was what I needed. On that note, I do apologize for the inconsistency and lack of posts lately, things behind the scenes here at The Dreamery have been quite busy with desserts, events, and small projects coming up, along with, well my personal life. But the holidays are upon, and there’s nothing that makes me happy and inspired than that. Here are few shots of the lovely time I had in Boston. Traveling to...BostonTraveling to...BostonTraveling to...BostonTraveling to...BostonTraveling to...BostonTraveling to...BostonTraveling to...BostonTraveling to...BostonTraveling to...BostonTraveling to...BostonTraveling to...BostonTraveling to...Boston

Welcoming Spring w. a Disco Tea Party !!🌸🪩 Welcoming Spring w. a Disco Tea Party !!🌸🪩

If there was a “party theme” that best describes me, I think it would be this. A delicate explosion of psychedelic pastel blooms & pretty vintage tea cups, colorful retro glasses happily scattered amongst the disco ball reflections — ready to be filled w. the spirit you fancy best to sip & dance on the grass from sunset to moonrise to sunrise, as if at a Grand Ball, Woodstock or Studio54 …

This tablescape best showcases my love of all things 70’s; an era whose soul inspires me & is much of what I love … where delicate & wild flowers are flower power!

Then there’s the romantic at heart; who loves all things intricate vintage details, lush gardens, gilded affairs & tea parties brimming w. classical melodies.

I quite love this Spring styling & you can read/see more of it on the Blog now✨ … follow link in bio
