And so begins my denial that summer is ending, even though we technically have a month until it’s official over. I refuse to go to craft stores {sorry Michaels the holiday products on your shelves right now are a bit too much for me}, I don’t really care for Fall fashion trends or the arrival of pumpkin flavored everything. I just want to enjoy these summer and warm days as long as I possibly can and this not-so-nice Northeast weather permits. I really need to prepare myself for the end of my two favorite seasons, and the arrival of seasons that I still can’t get used to.
These last two weeks of August are going to be busy putting together the final pieces for a wedding, but I’m definitely planning on packing in lots of summer activities, like going sailing along NYC for my father’s birthday, making some refreshing drinks with this month’s freshest produce, and darn it if I don’t go to the beach this weekend! How are you enjoying these final dog days of summer??
