6 Creative Ways to Display Your Wedding Photos At Home

August 23, 2017 · 1 Comment

6 Creative Ways to Display Your Wedding Photos At Home | Dreamery EventsPhotographs allow us to capture and look back at every moment in our lives – from simple summer shots at home or magical happy days, like your wedding. A wedding is a big celebration, and when it comes to photographs it’s one the few events we place plenty of attention and detail to. Capturing your love and union will become some of the most cherished and important photos one takes in their lives. But often, especially now in an age of technology, over time the photographs we take get lost within the crowd on our phones and computers. I mean a couple spends their money and time planning their wedding, looking for the perfect photographer they’d like to capture their love. A wedding comes and goes just as quickly, so it’s easy to forget certain details from the day, that’s why turning your photos into a display or decor pieces for your home is a wonderful way to celebrate your special day everyday.

With a bit of creativity and personal touch, you can display these memories in your home in a way that is more unique than the classic frame. I’ve gathered up some of my favorite modern ideas for you to showcase your stunning wedding photographs for you and guests to enjoy for years to come…

1. Gallery Wall

Gallery walls are all the rage, and it’s a great way to take the traditional framed image and display it in a more modern way. You can create a grand gallery of images on a large wall of your living room, or small nook in a corner of your bedroom. It’s such a pretty way to see several stunning wedding shots at once. For a really personal and creative take, incorporate photos from your dating days or family wedding photos from generations before. Another great idea is to create canvas prints or frame mementos like your written vows or a quote from the day.

2. A Digital Frame

Personally I love a digital frame. I gifted one to my parents for Christmas a few years back as a way to display all the photos we took on our {five} Caribbean trips. It’s probably the best way to display every one of the photographs everyday, and if you’re anything like me, you take plenty of photos. You can choose to turn it on when you’d like, but isn’t it nice to casually glass over and see memories pass by. The only downfall is how digital frames often look, which is why I love the new beautiful looking modern frames from Aura Frames. How gorgeous is this rose gold one? These frames would make a perfect wedding gift for a couple, that is unique, lovely and very personal. Aura Frames is definitely a perfect gift to keep all those beautiful wedding photos from collection dust.

3. Create An Art Display

Create a beautiful art piece to hang in your living space or bedroom. I love the idea of transforming this embroidery hoop wreath into a photo gallery by adding several different photographs. It’s easy enough to do, and is an inexpensive way to display more than one photo. If your style is more rustic, how pretty is taking a charming branch and dangling polaroids of your big day. This idea is just lovely for any part of your home.

4. Coffee Book

Ah the beloved wedding album. It’s a classic wedding tradition and it’s something married couples can hold on to remember their day. But these are well too often forgotten too, either in a box or amongst other books on the shelf. So how do you take an album and make it into something you can look back on more often? A coffee book is the perfect piece of home decor that adds a very personal touch. Choosing some of your favorite photos to feature on the cover will automatically make you and guests want to relive your day all over again.

5. Coasters

What better way to make use of beautiful memories than in a way that is also functional and gets used on a daily basis. Coasters are a piece of your home decor that actually gets used, the perfect reason and excuse to display all those gorgeous wedding photos. The also the best special something to bring out when entertaining guests!

6. Photo Calendar

Why not showcase some of your most happiest and loving memories from your wedding all year long. Each month you’ll be able to lovingly gaze at a special memory. There are several ways to you can display your calendar, but I’m especially loving this wood clipboard. How lovely would this be in an office? The perfect distraction!

Welcoming Spring w. a Disco Tea Party !!🌸🪩 Welcoming Spring w. a Disco Tea Party !!🌸🪩

If there was a “party theme” that best describes me, I think it would be this. A delicate explosion of psychedelic pastel blooms & pretty vintage tea cups, colorful retro glasses happily scattered amongst the disco ball reflections — ready to be filled w. the spirit you fancy best to sip & dance on the grass from sunset to moonrise to sunrise, as if at a Grand Ball, Woodstock or Studio54 …

This tablescape best showcases my love of all things 70’s; an era whose soul inspires me & is much of what I love … where delicate & wild flowers are flower power!

Then there’s the romantic at heart; who loves all things intricate vintage details, lush gardens, gilded affairs & tea parties brimming w. classical melodies.

I quite love this Spring styling & you can read/see more of it on the Blog now✨ … follow link in bio
