15 Gorgeous Natural Wreaths To Inspire From Autumn to Winter

November 13, 2017 · Leave a Comment

16 Gorgeous Seasonal Wreaths To Inspire From Autumn to Winter | Dreamery Events

This season I’m all about embracing natural beauty and its simplicity. So when I set out to create the wreath for this year’s front door, I wanted to make one that would easily transition from early autumn, to Thanksgiving celebrating, to festive Christmas and winter. A gorgeous lush natural green base made with fragrant eucalyptus, intricate seasonal branches, greens, and berries that could simply be touched up with colorful snippets like deep red roses for the winter and rich velvet ribbon for Christmas. Before sharing not one, but two, very easy natural wreath DIYs with you later this week I thought it would be perfect to kick off this Monday sharing the pretty wreaths that have been inspiring me this holiday season…These are perfect for one of the busiest time of year, but what’s really perfect about these is that you can make it now, then have it last all through the upcoming holiday festivities and the new year!

Dreamery Headshot_2020

A Lover of Nature & Kindness, constantly smitten by the simple pleasures of life. Travel fills my soul with bliss & inspiration. Flowers are my weakness, a slice of homemade pie makes my heart sing. I love the outdoors & live for al fresco dinner parties, cozy candlelit romantic affairs with warm fires & blankets to share.

I dream about these things, it’s true. Yes, it’s all the small details in life that drive me & everything I do because we all deserve to celebrate every special moment in our lives…

This Soba Tom Yum Noodle dish, inspired by @chriss This Soba Tom Yum Noodle dish, inspired by @chrissyteigen recipe wouldn’t be considered traditional but it does celebrate the beautiful Thai flavors I love. I’ll take all the spice & lemongrass please🍜😋!! It’s certainly become a staple of mine, one I’ve recreated several times & I highly recommend you save in your back pocket because it will leave you craving more...& more!!

I used to post lots of recipes on the blog ‘til weddings/events/design took center stage & hoping to do so more again. Get this recipe on the blog now!
I read something yesterday, that made me instantly I read something yesterday, that made me instantly stop & reflect..."Some people think that having Hope makes you naive, but in my mind, it's so much harder to choose Hope over being angry or frustrated..." As someone who considers herself quite a hopeful person, I've had this on my mind since. Let's not confuse Hope w. toxic positivity {in which negative feelings or hardships are pushed aside}, when there is Hope, we still acknowledge our worries, the drawbacks of life, the sadness but still know that there is good.

We've all been doing our best nearing a year into this pandemic; the lives lost, families broken, the uncertain long-term issues, jobs, livelihoods disrupted & most recently too many people to count, struggling after a natural disaster. My heart breaks & is w. all of you, but despite the darkness, what I've also seen during these trying times...is Hope & Love. Communities & strangers coming together to help one another however way they can, even when they too are struggling to get by. That right there, is Hope. Be gentle with yourself, be gentle w. those around you. We’re all doing the best we can🤍
Finding it a bit hard to stay positive today…in Finding it a bit hard to stay positive today…in truth the state of our planet weighs heavily on me daily, but especially these last few days knowing that millions of people are struggling to have the basic necessities of staying warm & having running water in their own home. It’s baffling. But this is the sad reality that we have created as humans. Decades of corporations, governments & leaders choosing profits over the value & quality of human life & of every living organism necessary to make our ecosystems thrive.

No, not the happiest of posts, but it’s honesty. We have created the rise in repeated natural disasters, pandemics & rare diseases. And until we hold these people accountable & collectively make drastic changes, then we will continue to have these in more severe cases — so yes, more diseases, more crazy things happening to our environment & the places we love. We have created this change & it’s severely impacted every facet of our lives & future.

My heart is w. everyone struggling right now, because this shouldn’t be happening. Please stay safe, check on your neighbors & loved ones. Help however way you can🤍
For many of us, Travel is very much etched into ev For many of us, Travel is very much etched into every fiber of our being. Travel makes us who we are, it brings life to our soul...

So my fellow travelers at heart, how have you soothed that part of you that feels put on pause?

I’ve been watching a lot international series, read plenty of travel publications & naturally find myself looking back at old photos, turning those memories into videos & reliving those moments...like a Sunday afternoon discovering Poço da Broca in the Serra Da Estrela🌱
If you need to mentally travel, see more of this lovely spot on the blog now!!
