Thainara + Jose’s Boho French Inspired Wedding Rich in Soft Earthy Hues

I’m so delighted to finally share the wedding of the beautiful Thainara and Jose inspired by boho French country details. It was such a pleasure to work with Thainara on this journey of planning their wedding, that for me after over a year since my last wedding it was wonderful to that we were able to safely have an intimate celebration on their love amongst closest loved ones.

Nestled amongst the bare trees, the charming Stone House at Stirling Ridge transformed into an intimate affair, rich in warm earthy tones, that you may have mistaken it for an autumn wedding, and not one in mid-January. It was such a lovely winter day, just the right hint of winter chill in the air, the twinkling candles reflections onto the varying vintage glasses creating a dreamy romantic winter night. One of my favorite elements of Thainara and Jose’s wedding were all the wood and iron pieces, and even the gold dessert display tables, that were handmade by Thainara’s father, and the soon-to-be married couple.

It was that love and bond, that not only Thainara and Jose shared with each other, but with their parents and all their guests that was easily felt and made the day even more special, if possible.

There was a je ne sais quoi about the fact that not everything matched. There was beauty in the imperfection that the glasses were different colors and varying style, even the candlesticks differed in size, texture, height and metallic finishes were mixed with clear glass and vintage milk glass. I love when couples love that uniqueness, and simple laidbackness to wedding decor, and allow me to have the freedom to style and do something a bit different.

We mixed different metallic gold, bronze, iron and silver tones, including textures, shapes and shines which is seen best in the varying trays used to display the succulent favors. A blend of antique silver trays, modern gold ones and rustic white washed wood boxes are draped with soft delicate fern, vintage frames and white shutter doors simply complete Thainara’s vision for a boho rustic French Country wedding. In fact when we first met and she showed me her vision, I could see the glimmer in her eye dreaming and talking about the simple but delicate details, and I hope she saw the glimmer in my eye because I could not wait to bring a beautiful look I love to life.

No two centerpieces are exactly alike, and it was intentional in every way. I loved curating the containers for these florals. Walking the aisles of antique shops finding amber colored depression glass and paint chipped floral urns.

Everything about Thainara and Jose’s day was special and personal. You felt it in the emotional and loving ceremony, to the bright wide smiles and quirky personal surprises like the groom transforming into a wrestler for his bride for s’mores and late night dancing, or how about that adorable cake topper! I simply adore details like these, and it was such a honor to be a part of Thainara and Jose’s special day.
