Friday Favorites {Christmas Dreaming}

December 21, 2012 · 2 Comments

I’m currently watching The National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, one of my dad’s all time favorites, and I’m wondering where my motivation and inspiration to write has been. The reality is, I’ve checked out…not in a bad way. More like a 5 year old little girl lost in a Christmas dream of fa la la la-ing,…

A Silver & Gold Holiday

December 6, 2012 · 2 Comments

I finally put together our Christmas centerpiece! The roommate and I have a thing for silver and gold, so we decided to make it a metallic holiday. I wanted to create something that was rustic, yet elegant and of course affordable. I instantly became inspired by the few items lying around our kitchen and leftover…

Holiday Inspiration {Gift Wrapping}

December 4, 2012 · 4 Comments

Now that the tree has been put up, and the apartment has been trimmed {how to post soon to come} and most of my Christmas gifts already bought, it’s time to get inspired with some gift wrapping ideas. I’ve put some extra thought into the gifts I got my loved ones this year, and it’s…

My Weekend {Home for the Holidays}

Apple Brownies

You can’t beat going home for Thanksgiving, especially when you’re from the East Coast. I love the West Coast, but there’s something about home that exudes the holiday season. I was amongst the millions of other Americans traveling to be with their families to enjoy the best holiday comfort food, watching or playing football and…

Holiday Wish Lists

November 21, 2012 · 2 Comments

Dear Santa, It’s that time of year again. The week before Thanksgiving, where people leave supermarket shelves empty and there’s no escaping the endless Black Friday advertisements. I can’t say I’m one of those people who look forward to this hectic shopping day, I prefer Small Business Saturday and better yet Cyber Monday, but all…

An Arizona Thanksgiving with the Girls

November 19, 2012 · 6 Comments

Thanksgiving arrived a little earlier here in Tucson, when the girl’s got together for a small celebration. Me and the roommate have been wanting to host a wine tasting dinner, but since we haven’t gotten around to creating out bar cart yet we thought this was the perfect way to celebrate the holiday with each…

Wedding Inspiration {Papaya & Earthy Greens}

November 12, 2012 · Leave a Comment

It could be the rich hued autumn trees or the abundance of pumpkins that has my eye drawn to all things orange and gold. I especially love the combination of this papaya shade with my favorite sea-foam and earthy green tones. I instantly envision an ethereal look, and an overflow of the season’s greenery, like…

Happy Halloween!

October 31, 2012 · 1 Comment

As young trick-o-treaters, dressed in their princess and superhero costumes, knock on doors for some carefully wrapped sweet treats, I will be enjoying the festivities by going to Tucson’s The Slaughter House. {Known as one of the scariest in the country..I don’t know how I feel about this yet} I celebrated Halloween this past weekend by…

Dreamery Headshot_2020

I love everything about entertaining. Flowers are my weakness, a slice of homemade pie makes my heart sing & I’m a sucker for wedding videos. Travel is a constant source of inspiration and motivation. I dream about these things, it’s true. But what I love most, is working with amazing people to create meaningful & unique celebrations…..

This week may have been a lot but at least it ende This week may have been a lot but at least it ended w. pretty flowers for little Adelaide! Her 3rd birthday may not be as big as her “Some Bunny is 1” or “Peppa Pig Muddy Puddles” celebrations but her loved ones are sure to make her special day “Berry Sweet”🍓🌸
E X P A N S I O N — "the act or process of expan E X P A N S I O N — "the act or process of expanding"💫

this year I choose to expand on the
lessons last year served us...
I expand upon all my visions, dreams & intentions
I aim to expand on love, abundance, health, joy, comfort, courage, creativity, adventure, calm, authenticity, w.e big or small that makes my soul sing & thus expand upon my growth.
But I wholeheartedly hope that this year can help others expand on all the good things they want as well -- especially in global terms🤍

I haven't set resolutions in years, instead I always set intentions -- little things that become part of who I am & in turn become the steps to bring all those images I'm inspired by, into life in my own way.

I'm simplifying even more & stripping it down, choosing to always show myself, & others,
more Grace. I quite enjoy this slow but intentional path. Yes, embracing a fresh new start seems appealing, but there’s much uncertainty still to face & we have a whole year ahead of us.

There’s time to get it done so no need to rush into it...show yourself & others some grace, be a Kind human always, because anything can happen✨

Adeus 2020... It‘ll be impossible to forget you, Adeus 2020...
It‘ll be impossible to forget you, you broke us, but you also reminded us how we resilient we are. Your chapter is closed, good riddance!!

Ironically my word for 2020 was “Bliss” yet despite all the grief, the heartbreak + emotional rollercoaster I think all of us, although at times hard, did see the silver linings this past year brought. Personally, I realized early on the immense amount of Bliss that was already present in my life, perhaps more so if this year wasn’t what it was.

No, there weren’t Big Blissful moments or travels, but there was so many moments to enjoy the simple pleasures of every day. More time in the garden, a newfound excitement in the kitchen, endless cloud gazing — birdsong listening — butterfly + dragonfly catching — soothing sunsets + always stopping to smell the roses moments. Blissful moments to create whatever it was I felt like doing, moments to appreciate what truly matters in life + what of that is what always needs to be present in life. The chance to escape in the safety of nature + loved ones. The blissful opportunity to rest, to mentally wander, to learn what stillness really is.

I gave myself grace this year & a well deserved pat on the back, & I really hope you did the same!! As I sail into 2021 I remember just how important all these moments are for growth + Expansion…

Things won’t change right away but all I can wish for all of us in 2021 is abundance, health, unity, joy & Love🤍🤍
Want to wish you all & your loved ones a very Merr Want to wish you all & your loved ones a very Merry Christmas🤍❄️ this year certainly doesn’t feel the same, we’re not gathering w. our loved ones, in fact for many this holiday season has been even more stress inducing than other years. But it doesn’t mean it can’t be magical & wonderful & beautiful whether you’re with your kids, your parents or spending it alone. Don’t forget to make it special & honor your favorite traditions, even if just for yourself!!

May these final days of the year be calm, be love & may brighter days shine upon us all next year✨🌿
