Can you believe it’s October already? Halloween is just three weeks away, and before you know it will be Christmas, but don’t worry I’m not getting ahead of myself. On the contrary I’ve been enjoying each and everyday in the present moment. The weather has been perfect this week, but even more perfect are the…

Simple Fall Foliage Centerpiece

I know I’ve been pretty quiet this week, only sharing this fall inspired caramel apple cheesecake ice cream, but it seems like my mind has been as cloudy as these gloomy day, but I thought I’d share a simple and quick fall centerpiece you can put together this weekend. Last weekend in the corner of a dark parking…

It’s beginning to look, and feel, a lot like fall here on the east coast this week. I’ll take the beautiful color changing trees, and comforting seasonal flavors, but as for the brisk weather that has me grabbing a light sweater and rain boots, that I’m just not ready for. Can I have my daily dose of…

Traveling to…Montclair

September 19, 2014 · 1 Comment

When was the last time you felt like a tourist in your nearest city, or discovered something really amazing in your own hometown? Either life gets ahead of us, or we simply overlook the hidden gems waiting for us just a few minutes away. As an avid traveler, I’m always looking for new places to…

Students have returned back to school, football has officially started, and pumpkin is everywhere, it’s definitely September. I’m not ready to say goodbye to summer and warm weather, which thankfully hasn’t gone anywhere just yet. It seems like everywhere you look, we’ve moved on from slower days and focusing on the present, right into routines and holiday planning….

Into the Garden: Vegetables

September 1, 2014 · 2 Comments

It was a rainy Sunday afternoon, one of the last of summer, and I couldn’t help but look out my window into the storm pouring onto my labor of work. I couldn’t help but think about how much my garden has gone through in just these few months of summer, and how much I enjoyed…

Into the Garden: Dahlias

August 25, 2014 · 1 Comment

I’ll admit that there are times you need cloudy chilly days, cuddled up with a good cup of warm coffee, watching The Great Gatsby and looking at pictures of the garden from this summer. The bright and colorful dahlias made it seem like it were a sunny morning, and instantly put me in a happy mood….

Flower + Herb Arrangements

August 21, 2014 · 2 Comments

Fresh flowers are a weakness of mine, and I try to have them throughout each room in the house, not only because they’re pretty, but for the aroma they bring into any room. I tend to place simple bud vases with single large blooms in the bathroom, or gather smaller arrangements together to create table centerpieces…

Raw Summer Squash Salad

August 19, 2014 · 2 Comments

Raw Summer Squash Salad

This past weekend the garden bloomed with plenty of bright green zucchinis and yellow squashes. They’re lovely grilled or baked into cakes, but I prefer mine fresh as a salad. I topped steamed asparagus and hericots verts, with spaghetti-like ribbons of squash. When I made a batch of this, I knew extra was going to be needed, because…

End of Summer Soirée Inspiration

August 18, 2014 · 1 Comment

The days are becoming brisker as Fall nears. Some are attempting to savor every last bit of summer by going on their getaways and vacations now before normal routine begins once again in September, while some have already said “adieu” to the carefree spirit of Summer. For most, it’s the days spent enjoying deep relaxation and laughs…

Dreamery Headshot_2020

I love everything about entertaining. Flowers are my weakness, a slice of homemade pie makes my heart sing & I’m a sucker for wedding videos. Travel is a constant source of inspiration and motivation. I dream about these things, it’s true. But what I love most, is working with amazing people to create meaningful & unique celebrations…..

This week may have been a lot but at least it ende This week may have been a lot but at least it ended w. pretty flowers for little Adelaide! Her 3rd birthday may not be as big as her “Some Bunny is 1” or “Peppa Pig Muddy Puddles” celebrations but her loved ones are sure to make her special day “Berry Sweet”🍓🌸
E X P A N S I O N — "the act or process of expan E X P A N S I O N — "the act or process of expanding"💫

this year I choose to expand on the
lessons last year served us...
I expand upon all my visions, dreams & intentions
I aim to expand on love, abundance, health, joy, comfort, courage, creativity, adventure, calm, authenticity, w.e big or small that makes my soul sing & thus expand upon my growth.
But I wholeheartedly hope that this year can help others expand on all the good things they want as well -- especially in global terms🤍

I haven't set resolutions in years, instead I always set intentions -- little things that become part of who I am & in turn become the steps to bring all those images I'm inspired by, into life in my own way.

I'm simplifying even more & stripping it down, choosing to always show myself, & others,
more Grace. I quite enjoy this slow but intentional path. Yes, embracing a fresh new start seems appealing, but there’s much uncertainty still to face & we have a whole year ahead of us.

There’s time to get it done so no need to rush into it...show yourself & others some grace, be a Kind human always, because anything can happen✨

Adeus 2020... It‘ll be impossible to forget you, Adeus 2020...
It‘ll be impossible to forget you, you broke us, but you also reminded us how we resilient we are. Your chapter is closed, good riddance!!

Ironically my word for 2020 was “Bliss” yet despite all the grief, the heartbreak + emotional rollercoaster I think all of us, although at times hard, did see the silver linings this past year brought. Personally, I realized early on the immense amount of Bliss that was already present in my life, perhaps more so if this year wasn’t what it was.

No, there weren’t Big Blissful moments or travels, but there was so many moments to enjoy the simple pleasures of every day. More time in the garden, a newfound excitement in the kitchen, endless cloud gazing — birdsong listening — butterfly + dragonfly catching — soothing sunsets + always stopping to smell the roses moments. Blissful moments to create whatever it was I felt like doing, moments to appreciate what truly matters in life + what of that is what always needs to be present in life. The chance to escape in the safety of nature + loved ones. The blissful opportunity to rest, to mentally wander, to learn what stillness really is.

I gave myself grace this year & a well deserved pat on the back, & I really hope you did the same!! As I sail into 2021 I remember just how important all these moments are for growth + Expansion…

Things won’t change right away but all I can wish for all of us in 2021 is abundance, health, unity, joy & Love🤍🤍
Want to wish you all & your loved ones a very Merr Want to wish you all & your loved ones a very Merry Christmas🤍❄️ this year certainly doesn’t feel the same, we’re not gathering w. our loved ones, in fact for many this holiday season has been even more stress inducing than other years. But it doesn’t mean it can’t be magical & wonderful & beautiful whether you’re with your kids, your parents or spending it alone. Don’t forget to make it special & honor your favorite traditions, even if just for yourself!!

May these final days of the year be calm, be love & may brighter days shine upon us all next year✨🌿
