A Silver & Gold Holiday

December 6, 2012 · 2 Comments

I finally put together our Christmas centerpiece! The roommate and I have a thing for silver and gold, so we decided to make it a metallic holiday. I wanted to create something that was rustic, yet elegant and of course affordable. I instantly became inspired by the few items lying around our kitchen and leftover…

How To {Painted Jewelry}

November 13, 2012 · Leave a Comment

We’ve become in love with Tom Binn’s neon transformation of rhinestone costume jewelry for months now,  and after sorting through my jewelry I found a pair of earrings I thought could use a fresh new coat of paint. Nail polish goes a long way, and is the easiest way to quickly transform the look of…

I can’t believe this week is already over, it seemed like the fastest one yet. It could be that I was still adjusting after being in Portugal for three weeks or that it marked the last days of living on the East Coast before moving to Arizona tomorrow. Trips to say my “see you later”…

I’m Loving…

October 11, 2012 · Leave a Comment

For me traveling usually means plenty of magazines and night-time rituals of browsing online just to keep me posted on all the new things happening back home in the states. From nail lacquer that supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month to gourmet treats to aromatic scents that work just like acupuncture, here are a few of…

How To {Button Earrings}

September 6, 2012 · 2 Comments

Awhile ago I stumbled upon a DIY on Say Yes to Hoboken from Claire of fellow fellow on button earrings. I have a collection of vintage buttons from my grandmother and mother that has just been piling up not being used, and I knew that this was the perfect thing to do with them. You can…

It’s been a restless week, but I’m hoping to regain my energy back and clear my thoughts. This weekend I’ll be looking forward to celebrating my dad’s birthday and my best friend’s quarter-century birthday in Atlantic City. Now that’s a milestone! Bedroom Inspiration :: Adding Freshness

As I mentioned yesterday, I’m officially moving out west to Arizona in October! I’m excited to not only be traveling to start a new chapter in my life and experience many new things with my dear friend Katie, but I’ll have my own space again. I can’t wait to transform my room into a little…

August 14, 2012 · 11 Comments

It’s been awhile since I’ve been my usual self, immersed in the blogging world. It’s actually quite strange that it’s been days since I posted or spent hours getting inspired from so many great minds. But it’s been a crazy couple of days. Between meeting up with friends in New York City, spending hours in…

How to {Cutoff Shorts}

August 1, 2012 · Leave a Comment

The disappearance of my camera’s battery charger this past weekend, led me to an endless hour of rummaging through every nook in my attic. I didn’t find it {still waiting for it to come in the mail} but I did find a pair of grey distressed jeans I had in high school that I loved….

Dreamery Headshot_2020

A Lover of Nature & Kindness, constantly smitten by the simple pleasures of life. Travel fills my soul with bliss & inspiration. Flowers are my weakness, a slice of homemade pie makes my heart sing. I love the outdoors & live for al fresco dinner parties, cozy candlelit romantic affairs with warm fires & blankets to share.

I dream about these things, it’s true. Yes, it’s all the small details in life that drive me & everything I do because we all deserve to celebrate every special moment in our lives…

Just a few stems of these brightly orange & red tulips, which may look as if are wilting, are now shown off in a lovely way that will change as the sun progresses & will last a few days longer🌷✨

I’ve found the less I share on social media the more authenticity thrives. The ever-dream & idea filled mind grows & flourishes. It’s been comforting knowing that other creatives I’ve admired for years, both event related & not, have in part felt the same. When one creative outlet was paused, the other creative ideas that had been hibernating in the mind, quietly waiting for their time, began to shine brighter & brighter. Yes, it’s been comforting feeling that commonality in change & perspective...

But the one thing that’s never changed for me, is celebrating the beauty in the simple things. Giving a new home, a new form of life to a simple treasure. Those subtle everyday moments that are beyond inspiring...
