Nostalgia

August 20, 2014 · 1 Comment

Do you ever get an intense feeling of nostalgia, where a certain smell or the weather takes you back to a certain moment or time in your life? This morning a cup of coffee took me back to my favorite coffee shop in Arizona, and drinking multiple pumpkin lattes, getting me through planning several large fundraisers. The morning…

Traveling To…Mt. Lemmon {Part 2}

June 16, 2013 · 4 Comments

Happy Father’s Day to the one dad that’s been there through every science project and math homework, the genius of a handyman I can only aspire to be, and along with my grandfather the garden guru who I constantly seek advice for my budding flowers. He’s been to every high school musical, crew race in…

Traveling to…Scottsdale

May 28, 2013 · 2 Comments

I can’t believe it’s been over a week since my parents came to visit me, and we were spending the morning touring Downtown Scottsdale, something I’ve been wanting to do since my move out here. My parents were not in New Jersey anymore-traded in their sneakers for sandals, hand-picked local vegetables at the Old Scottsdale Farmer’s…

Traveling to…Mt. Lemmon

January 10, 2013 · 1 Comment

This past weekend I made my first trip to the Arizona mountains and saw snow on the West Coast for the first time, and of all places…Tucson. Who would’ve thought. Brittany and I just couldn’t let a gorgeous sunny winter day go to waste. We watched as the crowds of families enjoyed their day sledding,…

4th Avenue Winter Street Fair

December 13, 2012 · Leave a Comment

This past weekend not only brought me gorgeous sunshine, but it was spent with a great group of friends enjoying the best taste and craftsmanship that Tucson has to offer at the 4th Avenue Winter Street Fair. Endless white tents filled with beautiful paintings, authentic pottery made from the land, delicate glass-work and stunning jewelry we just couldn’t keep our hands off. I wanted…

Another week gone by and I still find myself wandering to new parts of Tucson, discovering a hidden corner I want to meet. I’ve slowly begun the decorating process in our apartment, the first order of business…count the seconds until my new bed comes, so that I can really do some work in my own…

Dreamery Headshot_2020

A Lover of Nature & Kindness, constantly smitten by the simple pleasures of life. Travel fills my soul with bliss & inspiration. Flowers are my weakness, a slice of homemade pie makes my heart sing. I love the outdoors & live for al fresco dinner parties, cozy candlelit romantic affairs with warm fires & blankets to share.

I dream about these things, it’s true. Yes, it’s all the small details in life that drive me & everything I do because we all deserve to celebrate every special moment in our lives…

the fragrant & gorgeous Jacaranda trees lighting up cobblestone alleys lined w. pastel colored buildings, becoming more vibrant as Summer’s heat begins to near….
Walking along the Rio Tejo feeling so close to the sea but not quite there & the streets not yet crowded w. vacationers basking in the city’s delight … walking around Lisboa is certainly a creative treat!! I’d love to be able to squeeze in a little summer travel; change of scenery is always such an inspiration, especially when life seems a bit crazy these days.

Any fun summer travels planned? Hope everyone enjoys the first weekend of summer🌼

sweet, darling June…

it seems we’re all being kept too busy these days, I don’t want the simple treasures of this month to go by so quickly but it’s like I haven’t slowed down enough to catch my breath between events & to do’s — not since my birthday, these flowers & a cake I enjoyed making too much to photograph. They weren’t for my birthday, but for someone else’s, but it really was the joy of creating this arrangement however way the color yellow called to me, foraging for delicate peonies, garden roses & stems that would make these uniquely special🌿

Not the most picturesque photo of these beautiful florals (you can swipe for those), but I’m quite enamored w. this shot … perhaps it’s that gentle reminder to slow down & take note of the in-between…
