Favorite Spring/Summer 2015 Wedding Gowns

BHDLN released their 2015 collection recently, and I don’t know which gown I love more. It’s a collection inspired by beautiful lush blooms, and secret gardens just waiting to be explored. Each gown is just breathtakingly pretty! I know Spring and Summer 2015 bridal attire has been showcased, but the release of BHDLN’s lookbook, one…

Lazaro and JLM Couture Spring 2014 Collections

January 21, 2014 · 5 Comments

Designs that exude glamour, dramatic styles, and decadent embroidery make Lazaro one of the most coveted bridal collections. I’ve recently shared designs from the J Crew Spring collection perfect for the minimalist styled bride, and have decided to continue doing so, choosing the most “oh so dreamy” gowns from designer collections. Although, breathtakingly beautiful Lazaro designs may…

We commonly see brides swooning over yards of satin and tuile, rhinestones and diamonds, but for the minimalist styled bride, the JCrew Spring 2014 Collection will sweep your dainty dreams away. Dreamery Headshot_2020

A Lover of Nature & Kindness, constantly smitten by the simple pleasures of life. Travel fills my soul with bliss & inspiration. Flowers are my weakness, a slice of homemade pie makes my heart sing. I love the outdoors & live for al fresco dinner parties, cozy candlelit romantic affairs with warm fires & blankets to share.

I dream about these things, it’s true. Yes, it’s all the small details in life that drive me & everything I do because we all deserve to celebrate every special moment in our lives…

This Soba Tom Yum Noodle dish, inspired by @chriss This Soba Tom Yum Noodle dish, inspired by @chrissyteigen recipe wouldn’t be considered traditional but it does celebrate the beautiful Thai flavors I love. I’ll take all the spice & lemongrass please🍜😋!! It’s certainly become a staple of mine, one I’ve recreated several times & I highly recommend you save in your back pocket because it will leave you craving more...& more!!

I used to post lots of recipes on the blog ‘til weddings/events/design took center stage & hoping to do so more again. Get this recipe on the blog now!
I read something yesterday, that made me instantly I read something yesterday, that made me instantly stop & reflect..."Some people think that having Hope makes you naive, but in my mind, it's so much harder to choose Hope over being angry or frustrated..." As someone who considers herself quite a hopeful person, I've had this on my mind since. Let's not confuse Hope w. toxic positivity {in which negative feelings or hardships are pushed aside}, when there is Hope, we still acknowledge our worries, the drawbacks of life, the sadness but still know that there is good.

We've all been doing our best nearing a year into this pandemic; the lives lost, families broken, the uncertain long-term issues, jobs, livelihoods disrupted & most recently too many people to count, struggling after a natural disaster. My heart breaks & is w. all of you, but despite the darkness, what I've also seen during these trying times...is Hope & Love. Communities & strangers coming together to help one another however way they can, even when they too are struggling to get by. That right there, is Hope. Be gentle with yourself, be gentle w. those around you. We’re all doing the best we can🤍
Finding it a bit hard to stay positive today…in Finding it a bit hard to stay positive today…in truth the state of our planet weighs heavily on me daily, but especially these last few days knowing that millions of people are struggling to have the basic necessities of staying warm & having running water in their own home. It’s baffling. But this is the sad reality that we have created as humans. Decades of corporations, governments & leaders choosing profits over the value & quality of human life & of every living organism necessary to make our ecosystems thrive.

No, not the happiest of posts, but it’s honesty. We have created the rise in repeated natural disasters, pandemics & rare diseases. And until we hold these people accountable & collectively make drastic changes, then we will continue to have these in more severe cases — so yes, more diseases, more crazy things happening to our environment & the places we love. We have created this change & it’s severely impacted every facet of our lives & future.

My heart is w. everyone struggling right now, because this shouldn’t be happening. Please stay safe, check on your neighbors & loved ones. Help however way you can🤍
For many of us, Travel is very much etched into ev For many of us, Travel is very much etched into every fiber of our being. Travel makes us who we are, it brings life to our soul...

So my fellow travelers at heart, how have you soothed that part of you that feels put on pause?

I’ve been watching a lot international series, read plenty of travel publications & naturally find myself looking back at old photos, turning those memories into videos & reliving those moments...like a Sunday afternoon discovering Poço da Broca in the Serra Da Estrela🌱
If you need to mentally travel, see more of this lovely spot on the blog now!!
