The beautiful Autumn colors at their peak, the skies bright blue and the breeze brisk…it was a picture perfect October day for Aneesa and Simon’s wedding.
Aneesa and Simon are the creative pair that will add that something special, that ones willing to go a bit outside the box to create details that are unique while still being personal. The kind of elements that make you really stop and appreciate all the beauty they’ve created to celebrate their special day.
It’s always a pleasure working with creative driven clients, like Aneesa whose bridal shower we created a textured story of terracotta hues. And so for her wedding the vision again; to create a story of love through organic movement and texture. Evergreen details with a natural movement and a modern luxe touch. A mix of evergreens; from sages to emerald and forest greens, they created the core color palette used throughout. From the lush climbing greens and beautifully draped florals, to the carefully thought-out stationery that intertwined throughout the gorgeous spaces of The Park Chateau Estate & Gardens — it was these details that made Aneesa and Simon’s wedding truly a one of a kind affair.
…modern luxe evergreen textures…
and do it all, with endless candlelight!
The Park Chateau is one full of gorgeous spaces, like its staircase that was made to transport one back into the days of a vintage chateau. And on this day it was brought to life with stunning evergreen floral creations by Twisted Willow Flowers. A mixture of refined and whimsical white flowers were used around the decor, as well as in the bouquets. Fragrant Roses, Ranunculus, Anthurium, Larkspur, and Orchids with hints of dried white stems created a luxe bridal bouquet for Aneesa that made her beauty radiate. Simon looked dapper in his suit, with a pattern not easily noticed but just the right touch.
It’s those delicate intricate details that bring in you closer, those intimate details that also make Aneesa and Simon’s portraits by Sarah Churchill Photography, simply captivating!
The vision for the ceremony chapel, was to transform its large window into even more of a statement with climbing greens, as if naturally growing alongside it in a lush forest. These gorgeous pieces then found their way creating the most magical evergreen sweetheart styling, all made more romantic with endless candlelight. The ballroom was a vision of sparkle from all the candlelight that glistened amongst the love in the room.
I love that we went with printed linens, and in contrasting colors that stood out but in the most delicate way. The sage linens with the most subtle pretty print surrounded the ballroom, while the king tables featured a gold beaded overlay in a more vintage floral pattern. The two elements pairing together in a perfectly modern luxe way.
The stationery played a key role in telling the visually beautiful story of Aneesa and Simon’s wedding, starting with their custom invitation suite the bride created with A & P Design Co. Every piece intentionally selected to feature the focal colors and even the pattern resembling that of the gold beaded linens. Signs all featured the same font, but now with textures of frosted acrylic and in asymmetrical cuts. An organic asymmetrical display was the vision for the hanging seating chart, which greeted guests as they walked into the reception.
The details within the menu cards, the name tags on vellum, the perfectly paired gifts for their bridesmaids and groomsmen waiting upon their arrival. And how could I forget the beautifully packaged favors of ceramic cellars and glass bottles of Portuguese sea salt assembled together with their bridal party — that was all at the hand, and mind of our creative bride.
Every detail intentionally designed and created with love!
Cozy up with a blanket and warm drink. Let’s enjoy a walk back to this picturesque autumn day, and all of Aneesa and Simon’s beautiful wedding details…..
