Maple Pumpkin Granola | Dreamery Events

The days are getting shorter, the afternoon cooler, and the weekends are spent doing fun Fall activities like picking apples, watching football and carving pumpkins. This weather and season naturally makes you crave comfort, and there’s nothing cozier than a morning spent with your loved ones and adorable kiddos, baking a batch of this golden,…

My Favorite Granola

March 7, 2017 · 7 Comments

I crave granola constantly. I’m self-diagnosed addicted to homemade granola, especially this one. It’s true, I can eat handfuls that turn into several cups in one sitting. Who else is with me? Even as I was photographing this crunchy pile of goodness, I was eating it. I’ve been poked fun at before but foods I crave or want…

Staying Healthy with Technology

The hardest goals to achieve each new year are ones regarding your health and fitness. There are too many temptations, excuses, and other reasons that seem to come up that get in the way of taking care of our bodies first. It’s the little things we do everyday that add up to healthy habits. While we do what…

Gingerbread Smoothie

December 17, 2014 · 6 Comments

The holidays seem to be the time when most of us indulge in our favorite treats, with no remorse, but I myself can’t start my day off indulging; especially if baking will be happening later in the day, then you know a tasting is of course always necessary! As much as we would all love to enjoy…

I’m Loving…

July 16, 2014 · Leave a Comment

It’s been some time since I’ve shared things that I’m loving, but now with my injury and more downtime, I’ve become more inspired finding and learning about great things out there. I know my injury happened for a reason, and there’s no point in dwelling on the negative but the positive that will eventually come over time….

Chocolate Coffee Protein Smoothie

July 2, 2014 · Leave a Comment

I’ve been on a smoothie binge for the past month. They’re the quickest hearty breakfast I can make while hurrying out the door before a long commute to work, which is why I also need something that will get me through a good portion of the morning feeling satisfied. When eating and cooking a real meal…

Lentil “Meat”balls with Vegan Pesto

April 8, 2014 · 4 Comments

Being in the kitchen makes me happy, especially when I’m experimenting with different recipes, recreating dishes into healthy or more figure friendly options. Lentils are a friend of mine, except that time I ate them everyday then couldn’t look at them for a while. I make a big batch at the beginning of the week,…

This week was about recovery, rest and a lingering quiet my grandparents left behind as they’ve returned back to Portugal. It was about recognizing my accomplishments, and that I was of the select few thousand to endure running a half marathon in a monsoon. I not only pushed myself physically, I pushed myself past mental capabilities I…

Accomplishments

March 31, 2014 · 2 Comments

Do you ever recognize your own accomplishments? Do you even realize the small accomplishments you tackle each day? Probably not, because we only tend to remember or notice larger or life changing ones. Larger accomplishments in all forms take time, motivation, determination, perseverance and training. Well, yesterday I accomplished one of my biggest physical endeavors to…

The first month of the year has come and gone, and this week seemed more like a day rather than seven. For most of us this is the time we’ve remained committed to our goals, or have veered onto the path of others. For me I decided to focus this month on shaping my career…

Dreamery Headshot_2020

A Lover of Nature & Kindness, constantly smitten by the simple pleasures of life. Travel fills my soul with bliss & inspiration. Flowers are my weakness, a slice of homemade pie makes my heart sing. I love the outdoors & live for al fresco dinner parties, cozy candlelit romantic affairs with warm fires & blankets to share.

I dream about these things, it’s true. Yes, it’s all the small details in life that drive me & everything I do because we all deserve to celebrate every special moment in our lives…

May is the start of a busy few months of events, so I’m going to make sure I prioritize Rest whenever I can. But also plenty of garden days, living & cherishing simple moments — because when the busy days will feel like a blur or the state of the world (big/small) only adds to the mental drain, I know these will be the things that keep me going🤍

This dreary Monday has me all sorts of daydreaming This dreary Monday has me all sorts of daydreaming🌿… some say daydreaming is silly, I think it’s quite productive! Daydreaming can help resolve a work challenge, can put you in a good mood or offer that brief relaxing moment you so desperately need in your day. Yes, I love daydreaming & my favorite kind is travel dreaming! There is so much travel can inspire us with — so where should we daydream off to this week, somewhere we cherish & love or a place that’s caught our attention for some time…
