Happy Holiday season all! Can you believe Thanksgiving came and went, and it’s December 6th already?! This year has been flying that I haven’t even had the time to blog, but these next few days I’ve got some simple and quick DIY’s you can still make to enjoy a festive holiday.
Is your home all decked out with twinkling lights, a pretty tree and stockings hung with care, I just finished putting the final Christmas touches in my house, and there’s a bit of Christmas magic in every corner, including a tree in my bedroom and a third in my office. Yes, I have three trees in my house! So this year I was needing a few extra ornaments, and although I wanted to buy some new pieces, I thought why not repurpose some extra Christmas cookie cutters and turn them into festive ornaments!
This Christmas ornament DIY is seriously the easiest and most affordable way to add a new touch this holiday season. These cookie cutter ornaments are especially lovely on a tree of a baker, like myself, or if you just love holiday cookies!
All you need are cookie cutters, whether extras you may have and never use or fun shaped ones you pick up at the dollar store or during a kitchen sale.
Spray paint them white, or whatever color you’d like. Then add a glistening touch with a few strokes of metallic paint pen.
Finish off by tying the cookie cutter with a ribbon and hang on your tree.
How cute and fun are these? I’m just loving them on my tree this year!
What fun Christmas or holiday DIYs have you been making?
