When Spring is bursting with beautiful blooms, it becomes the most organic inspiration for a baby shower. Having first worked with Sandy on her boho greek desert inspired bridal shower, it was such a lovely experience to do it again. This time we created the vision for our design and styling from a naturally wild and picturesque french countryside garden. One with creamy whites of delicate tulips and ranunculus, vibrantly soft pinks, and peaches and mauves. With hints of the dainty yellow of cosmos and daisies, as well as fresh lavender. A simple yet fragrant nod to the flower fields of Provence.
Effortless and natural, always our intention — even when playfully displayed as printed floral napkins and the most darling baby socks filled with sprigs of baby’s breath, adorning each tabletop. A mixture of textures allowed the overall aesthetic to feel as if taken from a french countryside home. Mixed glasses, woven baskets, varying wood styles {including these real-looking blocks} and vintage ornate details, etched within serving trays and a vanity table displaying sweet treats for all.
Mom-to-be had plenty of activities for guests to mingle with and create items for baby to cherish. Even a clothesline displayed the most adorable baby outfits. It’s as if we were truly transported to the gorgeous garden of a European home.

I found this adorable setup on Pinterest! I’m a photographer in Alaska and would love details on the clothesline backdrop you created – specifically the center panel. I have some white shutters I was thinking of creating a Mother’s Day setup with in the spring and love the idea of adding a panel with texture similar to the one you did with them. 🙂
Hi Jenna! Thanks so much for your interest in this styling! I created this center piece with large foam board you can find at Home Depot or Lowes. Then I painted in layers first starting with joint compound/plaster and then painting. Hope that helps.
I love love this so much I’m
Searching for the vintage carriages you have for decore where did they come from
Hi Shanna! Thanks so much 🙂 I found this wicker carriage on Etsy. There are several shops that have them with different price points. Hope that helps.
How tall are the shutters?
Hi Kristen! The shutters are about 4/4.5 ft but I have them secured atop custom built stands that are about 1ft, so they’re final height is about 5.5ft. These shutter doors were found at an antique thrift shop so this all depends what size you’re looking for and where you might be able to find them.
